The Lake Champlain Crokinole Club, also known as LC3, was founded in 2019 by Dave G and Scott T after Dave introduced the game to the area’s monthly board game club. Scott quickly purchased a board of his own and soon after the club was formed. Dave and Scott hosted the first ever crokinole tournament in the State of Vermont in October 2019. The first leagues were started in February of 2020. Dave and Scott have also hosted several learn to play crokinole nights in the Burlington area.
Currently, the club meets on the first Thursday of each month at The Boardroom Game Cafe in Burlington, located on the Burlington side of the Winooski Bridge. Meetings commence with warm-up play at 6PM, followed by round-robin League play usually starting around 7PM.
