Friday Meet and Greet

Friday Evening – 5:00-9:00 pm – Switchback Brewing

Socialize over food and beer, flick a few practice rounds. Exact time TBD, but they’re typically open from 5PM-9PM. Switchback Brewing, Co. is located at 160 Flynn Ave, Burlington, VT 05401

Tournament Itinerary and Format

Singles round robin (10 games) followed by a double elimination bracket. The minimum total number of games (round robin + elimination) will be 12. The maximum will be about 20 if you make it to the end.

8:00 am – Set-Up (if you’re bringing a board, please arrive by this time)
8:30 am – Doors
9:30 am – Round Robin start
11:30 am – Raffle and Lunch (pizza and soft drinks provided)
12:30 pm – Double Elimination start
4:30 pm – Awards
5:00 pm – Event end

Food and Beverage

Lunch will be provided at no additional cost from local chain Leonardo’s Pizza. There should be plenty of pepperoni and cheese pizza. Let me know if you have any other requests!

Water and soft drinks will also be available at no cost.

Currently, we’re not planning to have alcohol at the event. To offer this, we would need to pay for a dedicated bartender, which is a little pricey.
